Šiandien gavau newsletery iš MS, kad ryt 30d pasirodo tai visu senai lauktas ir taip Microsoft atideliotas Exchange 2007 SP1…. žiūresim atsiliepimus :)

Šian prisiminiau laikus, kaip per informatikos pamokas geiminom TIM (the Incredible Machine)… tuomet nebuvo nei Quake nei Doom'o nei panašių geimu. O katik užtikau viena geimsą, kuris sugražino mane y jaunystes metus :P

Ramus muzonas, ydomios užduotys, tik gaila kad levelių mažai :(

Šiandien is kolegos gavau viena gabaliuką, kuri gali suprasti tik MES adminai ;)

Jei buvote šiais metais Tech@Night 2007 renginy, turėjote tarp visų free stuffu iš Microsofto gauti ir Office 2007 Proffessional Lietuviška trial versija. Kadangi esu griežtai nusiteikes prieš ENG produktų lietuvinimo, mane sudomino tik Proofing.LT direktorija, bei galimybė kaip nors, pro kur nors integruoti lietuviškus proofing toolsus i Office 2007 ENT ENG.

 

Solution:

1) Reikės tik failų kataloge PROOF.LT (reikės nukopijuoti iš CD ir nuimti Read-only atributą)

2) Atidaryti failą PROOF.MSI su Orca (Jei galimybių atsidaryti linką neturėsite - use Goole )

3) Lentelėje InstallExecuteSequance surasti AbortMsi lauke Action

4) Pakeisti Condition lauko pirmąjį nulį (“0”) i dvejėtą (“2”).

5) Laukas turi atrodyti taip: LAUNCHEDBYSETUPEXE=”2″ AND NOT Installed AND REMOVE~<>“ALL” AND ProductState<>1

Bendras aprašymas:

Šis *.MSI failas tikrina  ar instaliacija pasileidžia tiesiogiai per *.MSI failą (t.y. ne per SETUP.EXE).

Jei taip (kartu su kitom sąlygom), instaliacija tiesiog nutrūksta.

Šiuo atveju mes apgauname instaliatoriu ir visada praleidžiame šį žingsnį (LAUNCHEDBYSETUPEXE reikšmė gali būti 1 arba 0, mes naudojame 2)

Manau šita MS bug'ą galima skelbti šios savaites TOP gliuku. Viskas prasidėjo nekaltai - nuo papildomo Exchange 2003 serverio statymo organizacijoje (kodėl 2003 atsakymas simple: reikėjo skubiai o pasiskaičius atsiliepimus apie 2007 pagalvojau kad geriau palaukti SP1 :} ).

Viskas prasidejo nekaltai: NEXT > TYPICAL instaliation. Instaliacija prasideda - miršta RDP, pingas į serverį eina. telnet 3389 veikia, prie serverio prisijungti negali. Po neilgo ilgo troubleshootingo problema radau - Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) servisas. Instaliuojant Exchange'a jis yra restartinamas ir kažkodėl automatom pats nepakyla. To pasekoje serveris nesugeba užmegsti secure connectiono su DC bei updeitinti reikiamus Exchange atributus.

Laikinas workaroundas - instaliuoti lokaliai pastoviai refrešinant servises tab'a ir startinant ICS (instaliacijos metu jis restartinamas pora kartų). :)

Beje problema egzistuoja TIK serveriuose, kurie buvo instaliuoti naudojant sysprepint'a imidža. Pirmą kartą užkrovus tokius Windus, ICS servisas būna disablintas, bandant pasinaudoti Windows Update paslauga viskas pasibaigia ties web site found waiting for reply :)
